Hi! It's your friend Rhonda, "The GOOD Influence - HER". I want to use this episode and this spot in season one to take a "time-out" and share how and why I started this podcast. I know it is important to share my fears and faith in stepping outside of my own comfort zone...that's what this is all about. I have to "practice what I preach"...right. Many of you know I worked in television and radio hoping to become a big star but as I continued in the business I quickly learned it was not my purpose. I made the right and hard decision to leave the industry. So, for many years I have been looking for the right outlet to use my experience and the talent I built up. But...creating this podcast was not as easy as you think it would have been for me. I had to...I mean I had to revert to one of my favorite tricks of the trade to create these shows and this entire season. I have to keep things really really really simple in order to stay on track and make it to the finish line without self-sabotage. I use metaphors. And in this instance, I used my "Pile of Laundry" metaphor. I know...I know it sounds silly and weird for a professional to use. But, I am telling you the truth. I am human with fears, goals, frustrations, and dreams. In this episode, I want to encourage you to finish that goal in your life...your purpose. Don't allow it or let it pass you by. Use my method to get it done and be proud of yourself. I know, I am so proud of myself. And, most importantly, I feel like I can do more. I want you to have that wonderful feeling of accomplishment too!
